why AVP?
- AVP ran over 40 low-cost workshops for nearly 400 people last year in Britain. 94% of participants rated our workshops excellent or good and 99% would recommend them to others.*
- AVP makes a big difference to individuals' lives and relationships, contributes to safer communities and is helping to build a culture of nonviolence in Britain. People say that AVP works.
- If not AVP, who? AVP is working with people from all backgrounds, including people with a history of using and/or suffering physical violence.
- All workshops are run by trained volunteers, all of whom are former workshop participants. Having gained group leadership skills, AVP facilitators can help make contributions to their own communities in new ways.
