AVP is building safer and healthier communities by helping people to build better, non-violent relationships. We work with people from all backgrounds and two-thirds of our participants have experienced violence or abuse in their home life. The workshops are low-cost -- no-one is turned away for inability to pay -- but to keep growing we need your support, too.

We are a small community charity with a small staff and we rely on the generosity of individuals to make sure that as many people and communities as possible can benefit from AVP. As we're a volunteer-led charity our costs are low so we can make your donation go a long way.

Donating online

At JustGiving it's quick and easy to make a donation - and with Gift Aid we can also increase the value of your donation by a fifth at no extra cost to you.

• A donation of £10 per month will pay for a venue for a weekend workshop each year.
• A one off donation of £40 will fund a concessionary place for a participant on a low income.
• Even £2 or £3 a month goes a long way - please give whatever amount you feel is appropriate.

Matched giving

Some employers will match the donations made by their employees, which makes your donation go twice as far! The List of Companies participating in this scheme is not exhaustive, so please ask your employer if you are unsure.

Fundraising events

If you want to challenge yourself to climb a mountain, run a marathon or even hold a cake-baking competition, why not do it for AVP?  Using JustGiving you can set up your own your own fundraising page for your friends and family to use.  It's very effective and really easy to do.
